Course
Crosswater Club at Sunriver Resort
Designed by award winning architect Bob Cupp, Crosswater is situated on 600 acres threaded by the gently flowing Deschutes Rivers – which can come into play as many as seven times during the round. The design is traditional heathland style, and the golf course features five tee placements for each hole, as well as bent grass, fairways and greens.
Crosswater is one of the longest courses in the United States, set up to potentially play 7,683 yards with a par of 72. Crosswater has played host to many high profile events including the 1999 Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf in which Fred Couples and John Daly participated. It has also played host to the following:
- 2000 NCAA Division I Women’s National Championships
- 2001 PGA Club Professional Championship
- 2002 USGA Women’s Amateur Public Links Course
- 2004 AJGA Rolex Tournament of Champions
- 2006 NCAA Division I Men’s National Championships
In addition to Crosswater Club, Sunriver Resort also features two other courses: Woodlands, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr.; and Sunriver Meadows, recently redesigned by John Fought.
